"The Ella Awesomeness Fund" is collecting donations to help with her potential donor’s recovery, as much of the donor’s recovery will not be covered by insurance. This fund is in the process of being incorporated as a 501C(3) non-profit that will fund an Artist Emergency Grant, that will fund artists in times of crisis or disaster, such as medical illness, natural disaster, death, or fire. Any extra funds after Ella's recovery will be donated for this purpose, and artists nationwide will be able to state their case and apply for this grant. Here is an excerpt from the "Ella Awesomeness Fund" Mission statement:

"The Ella Awesomeness Fund was created when Ella F.B. Watson, a young, fledgling artist who maintained work and involvement in the arts, had an abrupt reoccurrence of a childhood disease that resulted in the need for a liver transplant. Due to her disease, Ella was unable to work, nor maintain a home, and survived on the goodness of her friends and family for over a year. The course of her creative energy was rerouted and survival became one of the dominant themes in her work.

Ella was the beneficiary of emergency grants, which were often a saving grace in a sea of financial woes. Thus this fund is based on a “pay it forward,” to express the gratitude of Ella Watson and her family. The Ella Awesomeness Fund is a 501c(3) non-profit that exists by the goodwill of private donors and the energy of volunteers who work to make the Ella Awesomeness Fund exist through fundraising events and campaigns."

Thank you for your care and your consideration.  Even the thought that you might donate is a truly appreciated.  There is so much to deal with when getting a transplant, let alone the financial considerations, which, can often be the most terrifying.  Any help that if offered is greatly appreciated.
